This museum has been called an Aussie Icon and they aren't wrong. It is a museum of
Australian History. You will be taken through a tour of Australiana at its best.

As soon as you walk in the door, you walk into a replica of the famous Australian
Ettamogah Pub. Then there is the recovered and partially restored WW1 Canon,
which was buried locally in Echuca in the early 1960's which has only recently been
recovered. Come and view the photo display of its history. Other items include early
Australian refrigeration including the Coolgardie safe and Ice Chest.

There is plenty of unique farming equipment. You will see a horsehair teaser,
Winnower from 1850, Sweet Corn Cobber and old Carbide gas lights from the
1800's.

There is almost an entire range of Furphy water carts. They are synonymous with the
nearby town of Shepparton however the Pitmans Shorthand writing from the 1920 &
30 ends make interesting reading for a Beer & Australiana Museum, It reads. "Water is a gift from God but beer is a concotion of the devil. DON'T DRINK BEER". Needless to say we don't exactly agree with that sentiment!
